BUILD YOUR TEAM... EXPAND YOUR NETWORK
The property and construction industry's no.1 sailing regatta is bringing together hundreds of people from our industry to sail, network and fund-raise. Little Britain attracts project teams celebrating success and companies looking to team-build and entertain key clients.
Put Friday & Saturday 15th & 16th September in your diary. This is the year that Little Britain Challenge Cup celebrates its 30th anniversary and all guests will be invited to the 'big bash' crew party celebrations.
The exciting news for this year is that we will be based in Shepards Wharf, Cowes, and enjoy their refurbished marina facilities, the popular Sugar Store Clubhouse and the superb views of the Medina. You will find it hard not to fall in love with this fabulous regatta venue. Here, lots of great on-shore events and hospitality are being arranged for our very special year.
Next, we are changing our racing and sailing activities and welcome the Island Sailing Club race management team - world renowned for running the famous Round the Island Race. Their professional team will manage our racing and have kindly allowed Little Britain guests to use their wonderful sailing club facilities. Novice crews and experienced race teams will have separate courses set for them to meet their different needs and competitive levels, and by popular demand, committee boat starts will be introduced for all classes plus passage racing for the cruising fleet.
You can sail your own boat or charter from one of our recommended charterers. From Sunsail Events, a great supporter of Little Britain for many years and an official sponsor, we have organised a special charter package for you for their one-design F40 fleet. Contact them for more details.
Over the past 30 years we have raised over £1.25 million. All profits go to charity. Every year, you help us raise thousands of pounds. This year, we want to raise more than ever for the 1851Trust - the official charity of Landrover BAR - Ben Ainslie Racing's Americas Cup Challenge, the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, the Cirdan Sailing Trust, the Jubilee Sailing Trust, and local Isle of Wight Sailing charities.
We keep the regatta costs down because Little Britain is organised by your industry peers - an unpaid team of volunteers whose sole ambition is to make the event great. The regatta is simple to enter and for 2017 even better value. The Entry Fee will be published shortly with the Notice of Race (NOR) and to ensure you get a copy emailed to you, please register online.
Help us, be part of the fun, and stake your claim for the 30th anniversary Little Britain winner's cup.
